Beal has been a leader in the development and production of dynamic ropes since the early 80s. Since 2011, the ropes have been manufactured using Dry Cover and Golden Dry impregnations and coatings with a new chemical composition that improves water repellency, strength and wear resistance. In addition to ropes, Beal also produces belay systems, slings, loops, belays, helmets, carabiners, headlamps and accessories for rock equipment.
Beal is a small, family-owned company, but at the same time one of the best manufacturers of climbing and mountaineering equipment in the world. The founders of Beal, Yannick Senier and Patrick Edlinger, have put a lot of work and perseverance into developing the company and researching technology. Step by step, they moved towards the goal of creating reliable and high-quality equipment. And by the early 80s, they had eliminated the fear of climbers falling off.
