The LOWA Merger GTX MID W is a multifunctional mid-height boot for women designed for fast hiking on rough terrain and for everyday use.
The model is made with the anatomy of the female foot in mind to ensure a perfect fit.
The upper of the boots is made of extremely durable ripstop material, which is highly elastic due to the longitudinal and transverse arrangement of reinforcing fibres.
The Gore-Tex membrane protects against moisture and provides breathability.
The flexible LOWA® GT outsole, made of an optimised rubber compound, is designed for good traction on and off-road and a superior natural rolling motion. The triangular tread pattern provides a large contact area for reliable traction on uncomplicated trails or during city walks.
The anatomically shaped LOWA DynaPU® midsole and bevelled heel edge maximise the dynamic capabilities of the model, while the specially developed material retains its exceptional cushioning properties even after many kilometres of wear.
The LOWA MONOWRAP® midsole with its three-dimensional design comfortably wraps around the foot and supports it while walking on uneven surfaces.
Additional stability is provided by the elevated STABILITY FRAME, which surrounds the LOWA MONOWRAP® almost like an exoskeleton, and is much less pronounced than the men's version, yet still provides the same support and keeps the weight light.
