They are comfortable, thin and low-profile straps that sit wider on the shoulders, reducing neck chafing.
Features of the Petzl Sterno:
- The front part (bridge) is not fixed, which provides great freedom of movement;
- Rear adjustment buckles allow the straps to adapt to different body sizes;
- Three connection heights in the front part offer a more individual adjustment;
- The hybrid metal buckles are adjustable and can be fastened and unfastened, which makes it easier to put on and take off;
- Different colors on the inside and outside of the straps make it easy to identify the correct orientation when donning. 
The Petzl Sterno chest harness is not PPE (personal protective equipment).
