Climbing Technology Pillar Steel
Climbing Technology Pillar Steel - oval-shaped carabiner made of galvanised steel with a screw coupling.
Designed for descending, working at height, industrial safety and rescue, caving, etc.
The symmetrical oval shape allows for optimal loading of devices with a wide cross-section, such as pulleys, rope clamps and mobile belaying devices, polyslings, etc.
The Catch-free latch system (similar to Keylock) increases the carabiner's resistance to lateral loads and prevents the carabiner from biting into rope or other equipment.
The knurled surface of the coupling provides good grip with fingers or gloves.
It is made of high-strength hardened steel with a galvanised coating that prevents rust formation in a humid environment.
Features of the carabiner Climbing Technology Pillar Steel:
- Weight, g: 163 (5.75 oz)
- Coupling type: without coupling with a straight latch
- Opening width, cm: 2.3 (0.9 in)
- Breaking load, kN: 30 (3059 kg)
- Destructive transverse load, kN: 15 (1530 kg)
- Breaking load with latch open, kN: 10 (1020 kg)
- External dimensions (MAX length/width), cm: 11.0 x 6.1 (4.3 x 2.4 in)
- Symmetrical oval shape prevents incorrect positioning of the carabiner
- Knurled surface of the coupling provides good grip with fingers or gloves
- Catch-free latch system (Keylock) makes it easy to work with the carabiner and does not catch on equipment or glove fingertips
- Certification: EN 12275:2013-B, CE 0333
