Climbing Technology Snappy Steel SG - is a robust, heavy-duty pear-shaped carabiner made of galvanised steel with a screw coupling.
It is used mainly for industrial climbing and rescue operations in difficult conditions.
The asymmetrical pear-shaped (HMS) design ensures correct distribution of the increased load.
The large contact surface of the carabiner with the rope ensures optimal positioning of the belay and descending devices and smooth rope sliding.
The Catch-Free (KeyLock) system prevents accidental jamming and will not catch on other elements of the equipment.
The brass coupling does not freeze and does not unlock in conditions of heavy contamination of the equipment or frost.
The knurled surface of the coupling provides a secure grip with fingers or gloves.
It is made of high-strength hardened steel with a galvanised coating to prevent rust formation in wet environments.
