Petzl ATTACHE SCREW-LOCK BAR - Aluminium alloy pear-shaped locking carabiner with SCREW-LOCK screw coupling and unidirectional positioning bar.
The Petzl ATTACHE carabiner, when equipped with the detachable Petzl BAR, becomes a unidirectional carabiner, focused on the main axis load and maximum usability when belaying or using ropes for moving on glaciers, etc.
The BAR cannot be closed unless the coupling is fully tightened - this limits the risk of user error when the BAR is set in the closed position and the carabiner cannot be accidentally unlocked.
The smooth rounded surface on the top of the carabiner ensures smooth rope movement when belaying with VERSO, REVERSO or Munter's knot.
Key-lock latch system prevents the carabiner from biting into rope or other equipment
A convenient red visual indicator near the coupling allows you to determine whether the carabiner is locked or not.
The knurled surface of the coupling provides a good grip with fingers or gloves.
