Petzl Sm'D WALL without locking system - lightweight and compact aluminium D-shaped carabiner.
A carabiner without a locking system with a straight latch with a rough structure for better opening - designed for easy and quick operations during climbing or for hanging equipment.
The carabiner is very lightweight and compact, ideal for use with the Petzl GRIGRI and with the Petzl Ti-Block or Petzl Micro Traxion, and has a special hole for the cord that holds the devices together.
Its comfortable ergonomic shape and Keylock system make it easy to use even when wearing gloves.
The Sm'D carabiner is available with 4 locking systems:
- SCREW-LOCK manual screw system that can be locked or unlocked as required; a red indicator light provides a visual warning when the carabiner is unlocked - ideal for harsh environments where contaminants (dirt, ice) can cause the automatic locking system to jam;
- automatic 2-stroke TWIST-LOCK system for specific applications where quick opening is key (e.g. at the end of a shoelace) and when connecting the GRIGRI;
- automatic 3-stroke TRIACT-LOCK system allows for one-handed release of the clutch in three movements and reliable automatic closing of the carabiner when the clutch is released;
- without a locking system - for easy operation during climbing.
