Gas cartridge Base Camp 4 Season Gas 220 сollet
The cylinder has a cylindrical base (d=6.8 cm), a modern sealing system and a standard structural critical pressure fuse in the form of a concave hemispherical bottom.
The internal collet connection is located on the valve on top of the cylinder, which allows you to connect it both to the connecting hose and directly to the device.
Such a connection allows not to use the contents of the cylinder immediately, to quickly disconnect gas appliances for transportation and storage, or to change them as needed.
The content of the cylinder is a 4-season (winter) mixture of gases:
- ISOBUTANE, colorless with a weak gasoline smell, ensures constant operation of the cylinder even with a small volume of gas, has a high calorific value, and also behaves better in colder weather, evaporation temperature: -11.7 °C,
- BUTANE, colorless, odorless, produces 12% more energy than propane, less toxic when burned than propane and accordingly less harmful to the environment, evaporation temperature: - 0.5 °C,
- PROPANE, colorless, odorless (to make it easier to detect a leak, an odorant is added - ethyl mercaptan), non-toxic to humans, has a higher evaporation rate in cold weather, evaporation temperature: - 42.1 °C,
Liquefied (liquefied) gas has a high volume expansion coefficient, so the container for its transportation or storage is usually filled to 85% of the volume.
The cartridge is compatible with all types of gas appliances of all manufacturers of the collet standard.
Seasons of use: spring, summer, autumn, winter.
