Primus Power Gas 100 g
The cylinder has a stable cylindrical base (d=9.0 cm), a modern sealing system and a standard design critical pressure fuse in the form of a concave hemispherical bottom.
The internal screw connection of the Epi-Gas standard (11М1) is located on the valve on top of the cylinder, which allows it to be wound both on the connecting hose and directly on the device.
The self-sealing valve (Lindal B188) allows not to use the contents of the cylinder immediately, to quickly disconnect gas appliances for transportation and storage, or to change them as needed.
The contents of the Primus Power Gas cylinder are a 4-season (universal) gas mixture that is recommended for those who do not know in advance what the temperature conditions will be:
- ISOBUTANE, colorless, with a gasoline smell, ensures stable operation of the cylinder even with a small amount of gas, has a high calorific value, and also behaves better in colder weather, evaporation temperature: -11.7 °C,
- PROPANE, colorless, odorless (to make it easier to detect a leak, an odorant is added - ethyl mercaptan), non-toxic to humans, has a higher evaporation rate in cold weather, evaporation temperature: - 42.1 °C,
The mixture is ecologically clean, a large amount of heat is released during combustion.
The mixture is optimized for summer conditions - spring, summer, autumn at temperatures from -15°C (5°F) to +25°C (77°F), at lower or higher temperatures, fuel consumption may increase.
Liquefied (liquefied) gas has a high volume expansion coefficient, so the container for its transportation or storage is usually filled to 85% of the volume.
The cartridge is compatible with all types of gas appliances of all manufacturers of the epi-gas threaded standard.
Seasons of effective use: spring, summer, autumn, winter.
- Gas weight (netto): 100 g (3.5 oz)
- Cylinder weight (gross): 198 g (7.0 oz)
- Balloon dimensions: d=9.0 x 6.7 cm (3.5 x 2.6 in)
- Fastening: screw, standard epi-gas (11M1)
- Operating temperature: -15°C (5°F) to +25°C (77°F)
- Gas composition: Propane, Isobutane
- The cartridge must be stored away from children, in a dark, dry and cool place
- Do not expose the cartridge to long-term exposure to direct sunlight and heat above 35°C
- Installation and dismantling of the balloon must be carried out in an open area or in a well-ventilated room
- It is forbidden to place the device on a gas or electric stove and to place tiles or gas cylinders near electrical appliances
- It is impossible to pierce holes in the walls of a filled cylinder, as well as to hit and deform it
- After use, do not throw the empty cylinder into the fire, it can be punctured to release gas and condensate residues and handed over for scrap metal
- At low temperatures, it may be necessary to preheat the balloon using human body heat, a chemical or electric heater, etc.
- It is not recommended to carry out amateur refilling of the cylinder, since the manufacturer does not provide for their refilling
