Tendon Smart 9.8 STD is a single dynamic rope for use in mountaineering and climbing for belaying on natural terrain.

Tendon Smart 9.8 STD technologies:
- Standard impregnation - protects the rope from water and abrasion, which significantly extends the overall service life, the rope has high abrasion resistance.
- SBS - a simple braiding system in which each strand is woven into the sheath structure separately, rather than in pairs (tandem), which makes the braid surface more compact and smooth. As a result, SBS ropes create much less friction, are more resistant to abrasion and last longer when in contact with stones.
- Compact - for the ends of the rope, we use our own special technology, 15 mm from the end of the rope, the core and sheath are connected into one.
- Midpoint of rope - halfway along the length there is a coloured stripe marking that does not affect the structure and mechanical properties of the rope (for lengths of 30-80 m).
- Tendon Smart 9.8 STD meets the requirements of the International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation (UIAA).
