Rope Petzl Rumba 8 mm

Petzl Rumba^® 8 mm is ultra-lightweight rope for multi-pitch climbing and mountaineering.
The universal half rope is designed for use in multi-pitch climbing, mountaineering and ice climbing.
The two ropes can be used separately or together, depending on the terrain or rope resistance control.
It has a reinforced sheath for greater durability and water-repellent coating Duratec Dry for improved performance in all conditions.
Excellent water resistance makes it ideal for technical mountaineering and ice climbing.
It has an excellent diameter to weight ratio, is very compact and takes up little space.
Petzl Rumba 8 mm technologies:
- Duratec Dry: water-repellent treatment for use in rocky, mixed, snow and ice conditions, makes the rope more resistant to water, dirt and abrasion, grip and other characteristics last longer in cold and wet conditions, does not contain PFAS;
- EverFlex treatment: a special heat treatment stabilises the core of the strands and improves consistency, ensuring superior grip and consistent handling over time
- ClimbReady Coil: special coiling allows immediate use of the rope and helps the user avoid mistakes in incorrect coiling and increases durability;
- UltraSonic Finish: core and sheath are bonded together at the ends of the rope using the UltraSonic process, which ensures greater durability and helps to avoid fraying of the ends;
- Middle Mark: a special mark indicates the middle of the rope for easier management.
The Petzl Rumba 8 mm is available in two colors (red and blue) and in several lengths (50 and 60 m).
