Rope Petzl Tango 8.5 mm

Petzl Tango^® 8.5 mm is lightweight half rope for multi-pitch rock climbing and mountaineering.
The two ropes can be used separately or together, depending on the terrain or rope resistance management.
It has a reinforced sheath for greater strength, the 8.5 mm diameter provides greater wear resistance, excellent grip and easier handling.
It has an excellent diameter-to-weight ratio, is very flexible and compact, takes up little space in the backpack.
It does not have a special anti-winding impregnation.
Petzl Tango 8.5 mm technologies:
- EverFlex treatment: a special heat treatment stabilizes the core of the strands and improves consistency, providing excellent grip and stable handling over time;
- ClimbReady Coil: a special coiling allows the rope to be used immediately and helps the user avoid mistakes due to incorrect coiling and increases durability;
- UltraSonic Finish: the core and sheath are bonded together at the ends of the rope using an UltraSonic process, which provides greater durability and helps prevent fraying of the ends;
- Middle Mark: a special mark indicates the middle of the rope for easier management.
The Petzl Tango 8.5 mm is available in two colors (yellow and blue with white) and in several lengths (50 and 60 m).
