Ikos TR2 is an ultra-lightweight touring tent for three that combines even more space and comfort than other Sea to Summit tent models.
The Ikos tents are based on the design improvements of the award-winning Telos Tension Ridge ultralight tent.
They offer the same overnight comfort and versatility for everyday backpacking and camping.
Four internal walls and a gear compartment provide ample space for your gear, while the rectangular tent bottom provides room for two rectangular sleeping bags in the TR2 model or three rectangular sleeping bags in the TR3 model.
Tension Ridge Architecture is a patented design that provides the best possible ratio of usable living space, height, weight, ventilation and gives you the most possible headroom, especially in the head and shoulder area when you are sitting in the tent. In most lightweight tents, the cross-bars at the top of the tent are angled downwards, the Tension Ridge cross-bar is attached to the console at an upward angle, thereby increasing the vestibule height and living space of the tent.
The Apex Vent located on the top of the tent provides up to 70% improved airflow and can be adjusted from inside the tent, effectively removing warm air and humidity to prevent condensation.
The tent has several configuration options for quick adaptation to the weather:  ‘Flight only’, ‘Indoor only’, ‘Dry pitch’, ‘Partial flight mode’, ‘Classic mode’.
The robust arcs from DAC are made of the highest quality alloy and are customised to order using high-precision processes.
DAC's environmentally friendly anodising process uses less toxic chemicals and water than traditional methods.
The inner tent awning and high floor are made of 68D polyester, which is flame retardant and treated to C0 standard without PFC DWR.
The inner tent is made of ultra-lightweight polyester mesh inside for maximum ventilation and its dark grey colour provides excellent visibility.
Quick Connect is a convenient system for quickly adjusting the tension of the tent ties.
Strong pegs of special TriPoint design with several notches made of Al 7075-T6 alloy provide a secure fixation.
The Sea to Summit Ikos TR2 is intended for hiking, cycling, motorbike touring, hitchhiking, etc.
For better protection of the tent bottom from mechanical damage, we recommend to purchase a removable floor or simply put the tent on any bedding, piece of polyethylene, etc.
