Tent Sierra Designs Convert 2 blue-yellow
Sierra Designs Convert 3 blue-yellow - a three-person all-season tent with one vestibule and a removable spacious vestibule with a side entrance. The colour is yellow and blue.
Sierra Designs Convert 3 is one of the lightest 4-season tents on the market.
Convert 3 is a model with a hemisphere design, with three support arcs arranged in parallel to form an enlarged interior space, and a cantilevered arch above them connects the entire structure into one and reinforces it.
The three support arches of the model create a large interior space.
The set includes an additional large vestibule with a side entrance, which can be easily installed with the help of zip locks and a separate frame arch.
The fully removable vestibule will help you save weight if you don't need additional storage space.
The interior of the tent is made entirely of fabric, which ensures a comfortable internal microclimate even on the coldest days.
The Sierra Designs Convert 3 frame poles are made of Lightweight Aluminum alloy, with smaller arc sections for more compact packing.
The tent awning is made of lightweight and durable siliconised nylon with PU impregnation.
The Sierra Designs Convert 3 tent is extremely popular due to its durability, good weather protection, compactness and small footprint required for pitching.
Purpose: Hiking and mountain tourism, cycling, fishing, outdoor recreation, etc.

Manufacturer
Sierra Designs was founded in 1965 by two friends, Bob Swanson and George Marks, who hiked and sailed together, and the company's name was chosen in honour of their favourite holiday destination in California - the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Production began with the hiring of two seamstresses, assisted by George's mother, who was a great craftswoman. Together with his mother, George invented and created original sleeping bags for that time. They designed and manufactured a whole line of tents, sleeping bags, clothing and accessories from scratch, which were successfully sold to stores and dealers.
An innovative product made the company recognisable - the Mountain Parka 60/40 jacket, which entered the market in 1968, became a hit and has been very popular for a long time.
For a long time, the leader among tents was the classic Sierra Designs Glacier expedition model, and the highlight among sleeping bags was the Double Mummy.
In 1978, they released their first dome tent, the Octadome.
In 1982, Sierra Designs launched the Domicile, Sphinx and Flashlight tents with a new pitching system, which were the first models in the world to feature plastic clips for the arches.
In 1984, to reduce costs, Sierra Designs management decided to move its garment production to Asia and Latin America.
In the mid-90s, Sierra Designs acquired the American Recreation Products holding.
Today, the brand is owned by another large group of companies, Exxel Outdoors, under whose leadership Sierra Designs is actively trying to revive its former glory and push other successful manufacturers of ultralight equipment on store shelves.
