Tent Sierra Designs Meteor Lite 2 blue-yellow
Sierra Designs Meteor Lite 2 blue-yellow is a very lightweight comfortable two-person tent with a large interior space for simple travel and summer holidays.
Two doors and two vestibules provide easy access and plenty of space for storing equipment.
Sierra Designs Meteor Lite 2 is a model with a "dome" design - a construction of two pre-curved intersecting arcs with a short arc in the upper part, which allows you to significantly increase the interior space of the tent.
The unique asymmetrical design of the frame increases the height and, accordingly, the internal space of the tent in the head area.
The frame poles are made of lightweight aluminium alloy Al Lightweight Aluminum.
The tent awning and bottom are made of durable siliconised nylon with DWR impregnation without hazardous perfluorinated compounds (PFCs), the inner tent is made of nylon mesh.
The original design of the Stargazing Fly tent makes it easy to open and enjoy the views of the starry sky right from the tent, and provides excellent ventilation even on the hottest nights.
To extend the service life of the main tent floor, it is recommended to purchase an additional Footprint Meteor 2 protective floor, which is used to protect the main tent floor from moisture, cuts and other mechanical damage.
Sierra Designs Meteor Lite 2 is intended for: hiking, outdoor recreation, fishing, beach holidays.

Manufacturer
Sierra Designs was founded in 1965 by two friends, Bob Swanson and George Marks, who hiked and sailed together, and the company's name was chosen in honour of their favourite holiday destination in California - the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Production began with the hiring of two seamstresses, assisted by George's mother, who was a great craftswoman. Together with his mother, George invented and created original sleeping bags for that time. They designed and manufactured a whole line of tents, sleeping bags, clothing and accessories from scratch, which were successfully sold to stores and dealers.
An innovative product made the company recognisable - the Mountain Parka 60/40 jacket, which entered the market in 1968, became a hit and has been very popular for a long time.
For a long time, the leader among tents was the classic Sierra Designs Glacier expedition model, and the highlight among sleeping bags was the Double Mummy.
In 1978, they released their first dome tent, the Octadome.
In 1982, Sierra Designs launched the Domicile, Sphinx and Flashlight tents with a new pitching system, which were the first models in the world to feature plastic clips for the arches.
In 1984, to reduce costs, Sierra Designs management decided to move its garment production to Asia and Latin America.
In the mid-90s, Sierra Designs acquired the American Recreation Products holding.
Today, the brand is owned by another large group of companies, Exxel Outdoors, under whose leadership Sierra Designs is actively trying to revive its former glory and push other successful manufacturers of ultralight equipment on store shelves.
