Bravo 4 Alu is a complete analogue of the Bravo 4 tent except for the frame material - it is made of Alu 7001-T6 alloy and the construction of its segments that have internal and not external adapters.
Alu 7001-T6 alloy - light aluminum-magnesium alloy 7001 with T6 heat treatment to achieve the optimal combination of stiffness and flexibility. Frame segments have a colored hard-anodized surface to protect against scratches and corrosion, they maintain strength and spatial characteristics for a long time under adverse conditions.
Due to the frame material, the Bravo 4 Alu tent is 0.75 kg lighter than the Bravo 4, its smooth arcs are much easier and faster to insert into or remove from the corresponding pockets on the awning.
The structure of the Terra Incognita Bravo 4 Alu tent is a "half-barrel" of three support arcs over which a fourth arc with consoles passes, which significantly strengthens the entire structure. The arcs are located in special pockets on top of the awning, the bedroom is suspended inside the already installed awning. Thanks to the external location of the arcs and the streamlined shape, the Terra Incognita Bravo 4 Alu tent is more protected against strong gusts of wind and showers.
Advantages of external arcs in tent designs:
- Installation speed during rain - first the awning is put up, and then the inner tent is fastened under the cover, which remains dry
- The ability to fold the tent much faster - it is enough to take out the arcs from the pockets on the awning
- The design of the tent is much more resistant to wind than a classic tent with arcs "inside" due to stronger tension of the awning and rigid fixation of the arcs
- The outer arcs tighten the awning more, due to which the condensate rolls down the inner surface faster and does not flow into the sleeping compartment
- Due to the larger space between the layers of the tent, ventilation is improved and the amount of condensate formed is reduced.
The vestibule has side and central exits, a ventilation window and convenient organizers on the walls.
In the vestibule it is convenient to store equipment, place a small dining room, cook food on the stove (removable floor included).
The tent can be used without sleeping quarters as an awning, dining room, warehouse, etc.
