The design of the Terra Incognita Minima 3 tent is a hub made of two supporting arches over which a third arch passes, which significantly strengthens the entire structure, an additional cortical cantilever arch increases the volume and height of the main vestibule and gives the tent a more streamlined shape.
The hub design of the tent frame (HUB) - the arcs are connected by hubs - connectors that combine the entire tent frame into one whole, the arcs do not slide between each other and therefore the tent keeps its shape perfectly.
The poles of the Terra Incognita Minima 3 tent frame are made of Alu 7001-T6 alloy - a light aluminum-magnesium alloy 7001 with T6 heat treatment to achieve the optimal combination of rigidity and flexibility. The racks have a colored hard-anodized surface to protect against scratches and corrosion, they maintain strength and spatial characteristics for a long time under adverse conditions.
The material of the awning and the floor of the tent - Nylon Double Rip Stop SILICONE - strong ultra-light polyamide fabric with PU impregnation, used in the production of expedition and extreme tents. It has a very high tensile strength while maintaining a low weight. The outer coating of the awning material with silicone protects against ultraviolet rays and prevents moisture from accumulating.
The manufacturer recommends purchasing a Footprint floor (sold separately) together with the tent, which can be used as an additional protection for the bottom of the tent from sharp objects, as a separate independent floor when setting up a tent without an inner part, and also as a small awning.
The tent has a main vestibule with a central entrance and a small additional one, in which there are ventilation valves.
