 This model uses the Roll-top system - the top of the backpack is twisted and closed with an adjustable buckle, so the volume of the backpack can be adjusted.

This Deuter backpack is made without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals, which are harmful to the environment and health.
PFAS are often used as rainproof coatings because they are water-repellent, dirt-repellent and grease-repellent.
Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless to health and environmentally friendly.
