The Deuter Wengen 28 L is a large functional city backpack made in a retro style from modern materials.
The model is made in the form of a reduced hiking backpack with a vertical loading with a folding top flap, adjustable with two straps with fastex.

The backpack is made of 100% recycled materials with a high degree of moisture protection and durability.
The Wengen 28 L is a bluesign® certified product, which guarantees the absence of PFAS (per- and polyfluorinated chemicals) and an environmentally friendly production process.
In addition, the Wengen 28 L is Green Button certified, the official mark of environmentally friendly textiles, which is awarded for meeting 46 strict social and environmental criteria, including waste water treatment and the prevention of forced labour.

This Deuter backpack is made without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals, which are harmful to the environment and health.
PFAS are often used as rainproof coatings because they are water-repellent, dirt-repellent and grease-repellent.
Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless to health and environmentally friendly.
