Deuter Zugspitze 24 - a lightweight backpack for hiking, climbing, walking and travelling.
The Deuter Zugspitze 24 backpack is a classic retro-style model inspired by European hiking in the 70s and 80s of the twentieth century, but made of modern materials.
The model was developed back in 1984, when Deuter made a revolutionary breakthrough in the development of the fully ventilated AirComfort back for trekking backpacks.
The AirComfort suspension system is a flexible and resilient metal frame over which a ventilation mesh is stretched.
The frame is extremely resilient and elastic, it always takes its original shape after deformation, this creates a perfectly ventilated space between the backpack and your back, moist air is removed faster, as a result, your back sweats much less.
Active-Fit anatomical S-shaped shoulder straps with soft Soft Air Mesh padding that adapt to the width of the user's shoulders.
It has two elasticated side pockets, a large pocket on the front, and external and internal pockets in the flap.
Internal compartment for valuables and a compartment for wet/dirty clothes or shoes.
The hip straps are modelled in the shape of wings, providing a perfect fit and stability.
Special loops are provided for trekking poles and an ice axe.
The backpack has everything you need to implement a drinking system of up to 3 litres.
A removable cover is provided to protect against heavy rain and dirt.
To ensure water and dirt repellency, a harmless and environmentally friendly DWR (Durable Water Repellency) coating is used, which is completely free of PFC.
This special surface treatment causes water to roll off the outside of the fabric, which keeps the material dry and clean.
The Deuter Zugspitze 24 is well suited for climbing, hiking, cycling, hiking and outdoor activities.

Made without PFAS
This Deuter backpack is made without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals, which are harmful to the environment and health.
PFAS are often used as rainproof coatings because they are water-repellent, dirt-repellent and grease-repellent.
Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless to health and environmentally friendly.
