Y-type belay device with dynamic rope shock absorber 80/55 First Ascent
First Ascent Y 80/55 - adjustable lanyard with shock absorber is made of dynamic rope.
Double lanyard with adjustable arms that ensure a continuous connection when climbing the rope.
Includes a simple shock absorbing element that absorbs jerk energy by rubbing the rope through the shock absorber holes with a load of 5 kN.
Also, with the help of an aluminum shock absorber plate, it is possible to independently change the length of the arms, which allows you to use a arm of the required length when performing work at height.
It is attached to the harness with a half-grip knot using a nylon loop without the use of additional elements (carabiners, etc.).
First Ascent Y 80/55:

Attention! Designed for use below the attachment point. If the intended drop factor can be more than 1 (the user is above the point of attachment of the arm), a burst-type jerk shock absorber must be used.
