Petzl Cord 7 mm
Petzl Cord 7 mm is a lightweight, low stretch (semi-static) auxiliary cord.
Depending on the diameter, Petzl cords have many uses, from mountaineering to home projects: strengthening a belay system, creating a self-locking knot, working on a home project.
Warning: Do not use for fall protection, e.g. in rock climbing or mountaineering.
The main uses of Petzl cords are:
- 7 mm diameter (blue) for reinforcing a belay rope... ;
- 6 mm diameter (green) for creating a Prusik knot... ;
- 4 mm diameter (orange) and 5 mm diameter (red) for home projects... .
Petz cords are supplied in a length of 120 metres.
