Helmet Camp Ares Mips ANSI Class E
Camp Ares Mips ANSI Class E is a versatile climbing helmet designed for both working at height and on the ground.
The innovative Ares Mips ANSI Z89.1 Class E (electric) helmet is a step forward in head protection when working at height and is the result of a collaboration between C.A.M.P. and the Swedish company Mips.
The Mips safety system is based on the technology of a low-friction layer located between the head and the helmet.
In certain angular impacts, the Mips safety system allows for 10-15 mm of multidirectional movement, thus reducing the rotational forces transmitted to the head.
State-of-the-art computer modelling of the brain, carried out at Mips headquarters, has shown that the Mips safety system reduces the level of stress in the brain in the various angular impacts that have been tested.
Stress in the brain is one of the main factors causing concussion symptoms and head injuries (technical details and more information about Mips on their website mipsprotection.com).
In addition to its many safety features, the Ares Mips is also very user-friendly and comes with all the features to make it highly functional.
The sturdy body is made of ABS and the vertical position of the polyamide headband is adjustable both at the front and back.
The swivel adjuster is easy to adjust with one hand and provides a secure and precise fit.
The chin strap can be easily removed when using the helmet for ground operations, and the buckle is equipped with a safety catch that can withstand a load of 15 to 25 kg.
Equipped with attachment points for ear, face and headlamp protection.
Available in 3 colours and further customisable with 9 different coloured stickers.
Equipped with NFC TRACK tag for digital identification.

MANUFACTURER
Camp
It was founded in 1889 in the north of Italy in the small village of Premana by the blacksmith Nicola Codega and initially specialized in the manufacture of forged products for everyday needs, in particular the production of bells for livestock. In 1920, the first ice axes under the brand name S.A.M.P. were made by order of the army, and after the start of cooperation with one of the leading climbers in Italy, Riccardo Cassen, he completely turned to the manufacture of sports equipment.
The most important characteristic of any climbing tool is the weight and weight reduction itself for maintaining all standards of strength, reliability, durability - one of the highlights of C.A.M.P. products Twenty years ago, C.A.M.P. set a carbine weight record - 33 grams, twenty years later in 2007, C.A.M.P. broke its record - a new The Nanowire carbine that appears weighs 28 grams! Currently, almost every section of the catalog has samples of record low weight.
C.A.M.P. also won respect as a brand of equipment for industrial needs: high-altitude work, rescue operations, the army and special services of many countries preferred a brand with a century of history.
Currently, C.A.M.P. is part of the CAMP Group, also combines the Cassin and CAMP Safety brands.
Now, at the beginning of the new millennium, C.A.M.P. is ruled by the fourth generation of the Codega family: Eddie, Paolo, Antonio, Giovanni, Isacco and Andrea. Like their predecessors, they do not change the company's strategy. Strategy of innovation, high quality and good brand name C.A.M.P.
