Helmet Climbing Technology Aries
Climbing Technology Aries is a universal helmet designed for working at height.
It is a robust and comfortable helmet designed to protect against falling objects and electric shock in industrial applications (rope access, working at height and on construction sites).
It complies with the requirements of EN 397 / EN 50365 / ANSI Z89.1, including the additional EN 397 tests, for protection against electrical hazards, molten metal splashes, transverse deformation and use in low temperatures.
Key features of the Climbing Technology Aries helmet:
- ergonomic design for high comfort;
- comfortable, washable and replaceable inner lining;
- fully replaceable internal adjustment system (chin strap + head strap);
- internal parts made of breathable Cordura material for high comfort even during prolonged use;
- robust chin strap with integrated quick release system in case of snagging (strength 15 to 25 daN);
- Supplied with headlamp clips and quick-release headphones (e.g. 3M-Peltor, MSA);
- Compatible with special reflective stickers (Art. No. 6X929KIT04);
- compatible with VISOR A and VISOR A-F, polycarbonate eye shields with scratch and fog resistant coating, easy to install thanks to the practical clip-on system.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION Climbing Technology Aries helmet:
This product is personal protective equipment (PPE) and complies with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
EN 397:2012 - Industrial safety helmets.
EN 397 also provides for the following additional requirements:
A) Protection against impact and penetration down to -30°C;
B) Resistance to lateral deformation;
C) Protection against accidental contact with live conductors up to 440 VAC;
D) Protection against molten metal splashes.
EN 50365:2002 - Electrical insulating helmets for use in low-voltage installations (class 0 - protection against electrical hazards: maximum rated voltage 1500 V DC or 1000 V AC).
EN 12492:2012 - Equipment for mountaineering: helmets for climbers.
Climbing Technology Aries helmets are available in 3 colours: orange, yellow, white.
