Folding mat Pinguin Fold Alu silver

Fold Alu is a very lightweight (470 g) folding polyurethane foam mattress for military, hikers, leisure and sports.
The cellular structure of the mat is well cushioned, allowing you to rest comfortably on any surface.
The egg tray-shaped surface allows the mat to fold into itself, which reduces the volume during transport, improves thermal insulation and increases comfort without increasing weight.
The mat is made of IXPE high-density polyethylene foam (closed-cell) and is covered with an aluminium film on one side.
The reflective aluminium layer on top reflects radiated body heat, which contributes to increased thermal comfort, if you are not sure, it is better to sleep on the "silver" layer and not vice versa.
Since the mattress does not inflate, it is not prone to tears, burns or punctures, so these damages will not affect the quality of your sleep.
It does not absorb moisture, does not require special care or careful handling, and does not lose its thermal insulation properties due to a puncture.
The mat has antibacterial and anti-allergenic properties and is easy to wash and clean with neutral detergents.
The thermal insulation R-Value (a numerical value that reflects the degree to which the mat retains heat between the user's body and the surface on which they lie) is rated at 2.0 (approx. +2/0 °C).
The mattress can also be used as a seat cushion (folded or semi-folded), a seat pad or a shortened mattress with its own cushion.
If necessary, the shape of the mat can be cut to suit your own needs.
