The Tramp UTRA-178 axe is the most compact axe in the Tramp axe line.

It is designed for cutting small trees, small firewood, brushwood, chopping thin logs, for auxiliary and carpentry work.
It does not take up much space in a backpack, boat or in the trunk of your car.
The axe blade is made of carbon steel with an anti-friction PTFE (Teflon) coating, which increases cutting performance and provides long-term protection against corrosion.
The blade is easy to sharpen and has maximum durability, the PTFE (Teflon) coating of the blade reduces friction when the axe enters the wood by 30%, which increases felling performance and reliably protects the axe from corrosion.
The wedge shape of the blade makes it easier to remove the ax from the log when chopping firewood.
The lightweight axe handle made of durable glass fibre-reinforced polyamide is almost impossible to break and is not afraid of dampness, cold or heat.
The handle is covered with thermoplastic rubber (TPE) inserts that provide a comfortable and secure grip, the rounded shape at the bottom of the handle prevents the ax from slipping out of your hand at the moment of impact.
The ax is equipped with a plastic protective case with a lock for easy transport and storage.
