Belay device First Ascent Halt

First Ascent Halt is a descent device with a locking function in case of loss of control ("anti-panic"). The device can be used with single static ropes with a diameter of 10 to 12 mm. Halt is ideal for descending untrained people, for training and evacuation it provides increased control and auxiliary locking during descent and ease of manipulation with the rope. The "anti-panic" function works for descent only when the handle is half pressed, when the handle is fully squeezed or fully released, the descent stops - a fall due to a panic reflex is excluded. Full control over the descent speed is carried out by holding the free end of the rope with your hand. A spring clip on one cheek of the device allows you to thread and release the rope without removing the carabiner. The automatic braking system is activated when the handle is released. Steel rollers have increased wear resistance (maximum height of continuous descent up to 100 m).
