Descender device Petzl Pirana Club green
Petzl Pirana Club - descender for canyoning. The colour is green.
Designed for group use or training.
It is compatible with single ropes of 8-13 mm, but can also be used on double ropes.
It has three options for installation on the rope, which allows you to adapt the degree of friction before descending.
The positioning plastic ring holds the device securely on the carabiner, ensuring the rigidity of the descender-carabiner system and reducing the risk of loss.
The Pirana Club has been designed for use with carabiners with Petzl Vertigo or Attache connectors (12 mm cross-section). If you are using any other connector, a compatibility test is required (check that it fits correctly into the mounting hole and that it works properly with the trigger).
Can be mounted for right or left handed use.
Features of the Petzl Pirana Club:
- Weight, g: 90 (3.17 oz)
- Maximum load, kg: up to 2550 (25 kN)
- Rope compatibility, mm: 8 to 13 (0.31 - 0.51 in)
- Materials: Al alloy, positioning ring made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE)
- Certification: EN 15151-2 type 3 (except for the mounting hole, which is deliberately smaller than 13
mm, for better positioning of the carbine)
