Descender device Petzl Rig

Petzl Rig is a compact descent and belay device with a self-locking function for professional users.
It is used for single-rope descent, positioning on a rope during work at height, evacuation of victims during rescue operations, organization of hoists and short rope ascents.
It has two possible descent modes: on a side plate or in a V-shaped channel, a convenient handle allows you to control the speed of descent.
The Auto-Lock system allows you to easily fix your position at the workplace without using additional locks or knots.
The rotating eccentric makes it easier to select the slack in the rope when climbing on a locked device.
The automatic handle return system reduces the risk of falling in case of involuntary or erroneous actions by the user.
The safety latch on the movable side plate prevents accidental loosening of the device, facilitates its installation on the rope and passing through intermediate belay points.
A wear-resistant stainless steel plate in the place of greatest friction on the rope strengthens the device.
A special position of the handle for storage and transportation makes the device more compact.
