Descender device Petzl Simple
Petzl Simple is a descender with an assisted locking device designed specifically for caving.
The simple "toothless" design ensures a longer service life of the ropes used.
It is designed for long rope descents in narrow places with control of the descent speed.
The device can be used with static ropes with a diameter of 8.5 to 11 mm, it does not twist the rope during descent.
Control of the descent speed and stopping are carried out by simply pulling the free end of the rope by hand.
It is very convenient for descending in narrow places - no extra manipulations are required.
A special clip allows you to install the descender on the rope without unfastening it from the harness.
The extended connection hole allows the FREINO Z carbine to be rotated to prevent the trigger from falling off when transferring from the loop to the attachment point.
The aluminium rollers can be replaced.
The rope installation diagram is marked on the device.
