Descender device Petzl Stop

Petzl Stop (2019) is a descender with an auxiliary locking system designed specifically for caving.
This is an updated version of the Petzl Stop auto-locking descender, one of the most popular descenders among cavers around the world.
The new format is convenient because when you are not using the Stop on the rope, its handle is directed downwards and it clings to obstacles less
The device can be used with static ropes with a diameter of 8.5 to 11 mm (optimally 9 to 12 mm).
The device provides increased control and auxiliary locking during descent and easy rope handling.
The ergonomic handle fits well in the hand and is comfortable to use, making it easy to unlock the rope and lower a person if necessary.
The cam-action design ensures a smooth descent, and the positioning of the handle makes it easy to follow the rope.
The Petzl Stop stays attached to the harness when the rope is installed thanks to a latch on the movable side plate.
The enlarged connection hole allows the Petzl Freino Z carabiner to be threaded through it.
The roller and cam are made of stainless steel for greater durability.
