Descender device Petzl Zigzag

Petzl Zigzag® is a convenient device for effective movement in any direction on a tree.
The technique of use is intuitive, similar to the technique of a pulley block with a Prusik knot.
The device is compatible with ropes with a low-stretch core (static) EN 1891 type A.
Can be used on both double and single ropes, which provides greater versatility of the device.
The descent speed is regulated by pressing the spring-loaded trigger, the rope feed is smooth and precise, allowing you to fully control your movements.
Sliding steel chain links ensure accuracy and smoothness of the rope, and accordingly movements and positioning accuracy during work.
The Petzl Zigzag automatically locks on the rope when the articulated chain links are advanced (if the trigger is not pressed).
The ball bearing block ensures easy rope sliding and allows for effortless slack pick-up during ascents.
Special elastomer inserts keep the connecting carabiners in the correct position.
The lower mounting hole is fixed to ensure the device is aligned with the working axis and optimize operation.
The operation of the ZIGZAG device can be optimized thanks to the Petzl Chican device, which provides more friction during descents, and the Petzl Knee Ascent pedal for ascents (sold separately).
The Petzl Zigzag allows users to work in accordance with ANSI Z133 (the safety standard for tree care operations in the United States).
