Belay device Climbing Technology Be-Up Kit
Climbing Technology Be-Up Kit - a set consisting of a multifunctional belay/descender with a patented innovative design and an HMS carabiner.
Included:
- Climbing Technology Be Up belay/descender;
- HMS carabiner with Climbing Technology Concept SGL screw coupling.
Be-Up Kit has a wide range of applications in various types of vertical activities: mountaineering, rock climbing, tourism, canyoning, etc.
Recommended for use with climbing ropes: double and half Ø 7.3 - 9.0 mm, single Ø 8.5 - 10.5 mm.
Be-Up is an evolution of tube-type belay devices (tube, "glass", "basket"), where braking is carried out by clamping the top between the belay device and the carabiner.
This intuitive device allows you to use a modular braking system, which allows you to optimize the braking process with all types of rope under load, without applying much effort to the belayers, and to automatically block and lock the rope within two seconds.
The Climbing Technology Be-Up belay device allows:
- To smoothly belay the leader in the bundle during the ascent, the special design of the device allows you to quickly, smoothly, without delay to release or select the rope;
- When using two ropes when belaying the leader, the device allows you to release one rope, while the other "half" can be blocked (locked);
- To use an effective modular braking system: special "V"-shaped notches are specially designed to ensure optimal braking when the participant breaks or descends without applying much effort;
- Use Guide Mode to belay the participant during the ascent: at the station, the belayer uses an additional carabiner with a threaded coupling, which allows the rope to be automatically blocked in the event of a fall of the lower participant in a matter of seconds, also thanks to the use of an additional carabiner and two "halves" the skin rope can perform
- Easily unlock the ropes under load for a smooth descent, to do this, simply insert the carabiner into the unlocking hole and create a "lever" to reduce the load, "V"-shaped notches allow you to effectively control the descent speed, do not twist the rope;
- Quickly switch from belay mode to ascent to leader belay mode.
Be-Up is made of durable hot-forged aluminum alloy and steel cable in a plastic case for ease of use, Al alloy carabiner.
ATTENTION! Read the instructions for use carefully before use.
