Petzl GriGri^® + grey - compact belay device with additional braking. Color gray.
The device is designed for climbers of any level for intensive use both on natural terrain and on climbing walls.
Has an Anti-panik safety function on the handle, which is activated if the device pulls the handle too sharply - the function will block the rope and stop the descent.
Also has a top-rope switching function for securing the climber - when the button is switched, the stiffness of the cam spring changes, and when the rope is fed to the climber, it slides more easily and does not activate the cam.
Thanks to the handle with the anti-panic function, the GriGri + is suitable for training, a special mode increases comfort during top belaying.
The device has increased wear resistance for intensive use due to reinforcement from a steel plate at the point of contact.
The Petzl GriGri + can also be used for short descents using a single rope.
Suitable for dynamic single ropes ⌀ 8.5 - 11 mm, ideally ⌀ 8.9 - 10.5 mm.
For belaying, the speed of the rope is controlled by the hands.
The hands work as in all classic belay devices, i.e. both hands on the rope, the fall is stopped by pulling the free end of the rope with the hand.
ATTENTION! To control the operation of the device, it is necessary to always hold the free end of the rope in your hand.
The rope installation diagrams are engraved on the belay device.
