Features of the Petzl Expert 55:
Comfort and ease of use:
- Padded shoulder straps, back panel and waist belt ensure comfort during carrying;
- Shoulder, waist and sternum straps are adjustable for a personalized fit, the sternum strap is removable;
- The waist belt can be tucked into the lower part of the back when not in use;
- Can be carried using the shoulder straps or one of the three handles;
- The backpack can be carried or hung using the top handle, which can withstand a load of up to 50 kg;
- The side flap with reinforced fabric can be used to protect the carrying area (shoulder straps, back panel and waist belt) when the backpack is carried, hung or placed on the ground.
Gear organization:
- Seven different sized pockets for organizing gear depending on size;
- Sixteen loops for securely attaching metal gear;
- Central strap for securely attaching all gear;
- Top pocket with window for packing, e.g. a helmet.
Easy access with different compartments:
- The main compartment can be fully or partially opened using two zippers;
- The side panel can be opened independently for quick access to five gear loops;
- Top pocket for access to a helmet or other gear you want to keep isolated;
- A small front pocket can be used to store small personal items such as keys.
Durable construction for intensive use:
- High-strength TPU material (PVC-free) in the areas most exposed to wear, for regular and intensive use, resistant to UV rays (no fading), oil, grease, high and low temperatures, and chlorine-free (no odor);
- Reinforced fabric in areas with less wear, for a balance between low weight and rigidity;
- Welded base for resistance to abrasion and tearing;
- Available in colors:  yellow/black and black.
