Features of the Petzl Expert 40:
Comfort and ease of use:
- Shoulder, waist and sternum straps are adjustable for a comfortable fit, the sternum strap is removable;
- The backpack can be carried or hung by the top handle that can withstand a load of up to 50 kg;
- The waist strap can be tucked into the lower back when not in use;
- Soft shoulder straps and back panel ensure comfort when carrying;
- Can be carried using the shoulder straps or one of the handles;
- The side flap with reinforced fabric can be used to protect the carrying area (shoulder straps and back) when the backpack is carried, hung or placed on the ground.
Gear organization:
- Three different pockets to organize different gear depending on size;
- Six gear loops, e.g. for attaching metal gear.
Easy access to gear:
- Top opening with window;
- Side opening for quick access to three gear loops and pocket;
- Small front pocket for storing small personal items such as keys.
Durable construction for intensive use:
- High-strength TPU material (PVC-free) in the areas most exposed to wear and tear for regular and intensive use, resistant to UV rays (no fading), oil, grease, high and low temperatures, and chlorine-free (no odor);
- Reinforced fabric in areas with less wear, for a balance between light weight and rigidity;
- Welded base for resistance to abrasion and tearing;
- Available in two colors (yellow/black or black).
