Cooking system Kovea Alpine Pot 2 L
Kovea Alpine Pot is a light, compact and economical gas system for boiling water and cooking food for 1-2 people.
The system consists of a burner with piezo ignition, a mug-cauldron, a transparent cover with a hole for drinking, an adapter-stand, a neoprene cover, a measuring mug.
Thanks to a special heat exchanger-radiator, which is located at the bottom of the mug-pan, the heat from the flame of the burner is transferred to the bottom of the dish several times faster, thereby reducing the time of boiling water.
The cauldron is protected by a neoprene cover, thanks to which the hot cauldron can be held even with bare hands, and there are also convenient folding handles, by which it can be hung from the ceiling of a tent, a backpack or in a car.
The burner is designed to work with threaded cylinders (epi-gas) with a self-sealing valve (Lindal B188), and with the help of an adapter with a hose, it is possible to use collet cylinders (not included).
The built-in piezo igniter and gas supply regulator, which conveniently extends beyond the cauldron-pan, allows you to smoothly adjust the flame power.
Due to the radial wind protection around the burner, it is almost impossible to be blown by the wind, due to which the heat loss is also significantly reduced.
The small power of the Alpine Pot KB-0703 burner - 1.02 kW (3480 BTU) allows stable and uninterrupted operation even in winter at minus temperatures, as the cylinder is less prone to freezing.
Despite the relatively small power, the burner can boil 1 liter of water in 3.5 minutes using only 4.4 grams of gas.
Each 100 g of gas allows you to boil about 23 liters of water, that is, on average, you can boil the full capacity of the system (2 liters) 11 times with the help of one 100 g cylinder.
The Kovea Alpine Pot 2 L kit includes an adapter-stand on which you can install pots of a different design and larger volume, as well as pans.
All elements of the system are placed inside the barrel together with a 230 g gas cylinder (the cylinder is not included).
