Descender device Petzl Exo Custom

Petzl Exo^® Custom is an individual escape system with a multi-purpose Hook anchor hook, adapted for places where the possibility of finding an anchor point is uncertain.
It has a self-braking system with an anti-panic function for fast horizontal movement, window evacuation and control and stop the descent.
If the user pulls too hard on the handle, the anti-panic function brakes and automatically stops the descent.
Petzl Exo Custom includes:
- 15 m long, abrasion- and heat-resistant static aramid fibre rope with a 7.5 mm diameter;
- a safety device with a CAPTIV positioning bar that helps to correctly position the connector and integrate it with the device;
- a fireproof bag for carrying and attaching the system directly to the seat belt.
The Hook universal anchor hook can be used in two ways: around a structure secured with a locking coupler or, as a last resort, on a window sill.
The self-braking system with anti-panic function is designed for:
- fast horizontal movement;
- controlled exit from the window;
- control and stop the descent (if the user pulls the handle too hard, the anti-panic function automatically brakes and stops the descent);
- limits the force transmitted to the user in the event of a fall.

On special order, Petzl offers customised EXO belay systems, offering
- choice of colour (beige or black) and rope length (up to 150 m in 5 m increments from 5 to 50 m; in 10 m increments from 50 to 150 m);
- choice of EXO AP (red) with anti-panic function and closed brake or EXO (black) without anti-panic function and open brake;
- a choice of connectors and anchor point mounts: with HOOK anchor hook, with EASHOOK OPEN connector with closed connection point (black), with Am'D TRIACT-LOCK carabiner (black) and CAPTIV positioning bar, with Am'D TRIACT-LOCK carabiner (grey) and CAPTIV positioning bar;
- choice of seat belt connector: with Am'D TRIACT-LOCK carabiner (grey) and CAPTIV positioning bar for right-hand opening, with Am'D TRIACT-LOCK carabiner (black) and CAPTIV positioning bar for right-hand opening, with Am'D TWIST-LOCK carabiner (black) and CAPTIV positioning bar for left-hand opening;
- choice of packaging: without bag (bulk), with EXO bag (15 or 30 m, depending on rope length), with Bucket 15 l (black) or Bucket 30 l (black), depending on rope length.
