Polycolon schoeller
Polycolon schoeller is a polypropylene fibre from Schoeller, one of the best developers of technological materials and yarns for outdoor activities. Consists of hydrophobic polypropylene fibres, so it does not absorb moisture, but due to the capillary effect, it quickly removes it to the upper balls of the garment (socks), where it evaporates quickly. The fabric made of Polycolon fibre is the lightest and weighs 41% less than cotton. Polycolon fibre has low thermal conductivity and retains the heat of the foot. It dries quickly and is very easy to wash, even in ice-cold water. Sanitised antibacterial treatment creates a lifetime of protection against fungi and bacteria.
Nylon
Nylon, or polyamide, is the world's first synthetic fibre.
Its most prominent feature is its exceptional strength, abrasion and water resistance and, as a result, high durability, 10 times that of cotton and 20 times that of wool, and it is also stronger than polyester.
