Leki Yellow Bird Vario Speed-Lock 1 are lightweight and reliable poles for ski touring and winter hiking.
They have 2 sections made of lightweight and high-strength aircraft aluminium HTS 6.5.
Speed Lock is an external system for quick, easy and convenient fixing and adjusting the length of the poles, works reliably in any weather and even with gloves, withstands a longitudinal load of at least 60 kg (confirmed by TÜV SÜD, Germany), the body and lever of the clamp are made of plastic, which makes it very light, only 26 g.
Aergon Thermo Long - the extended (12 + 20 cm) handle is made of soft foam rubber, which is pleasant to the touch, prevents hands from sweating and dampens vibration well.
PA Safety System is a locking device for quick adjustment of the lanyard length, even when wearing gloves. During an upward jerk, which most often happens during a fall, the lock unlocks the lanyard so that it can extend freely, while during a downward jerk the lanyard retains its length.
Lock Security Strap is an ultra-lightweight lanyard with a locking mechanism that is highly breathable and provides perfect comfort, allowing you to quickly release your hand in a dangerous situation.
Alpine Cobra/Big Mountain Basket is a special removable 95 mm diameter ring for off-piste skiing, perfect for snowshoeing.
Flex Tip Long (⌀ 9 mm, length 93 mm) - a durable tungsten carbide tip (hardness 9 on the Mohs scale) mounted in a flexible holder provides a good grip on almost any surface, especially hard surfaces (granite, limestone), and the tips can be replaced if necessary.
When folded, the poles are 110 cm long.
