Nitecore NES500 is a modern portable universal charging station with a shockproof case that allows you to get electricity while relaxing or working outdoors or in an autonomous environment.
It can be charged from the mains, a car or a solar battery, the capacity of the built-in modular battery is 518 Wh (144,400 mAh).
One of the most significant advantages of this power station is its incredibly high operating power, which is 500 W, and can reach a peak value of 1000 W.
Compared to the previously presented series of autonomous power stations, NES devices are distinguished by a more economical case, increased performance, and of course a modified cooling system.
The new cooling system provides for the design to be equipped with two fans, thanks to which the internal components, including the power cells, are actively cooled.
Also among the main distinguishing features from the previous series is a more durable and durable case with an ergonomic design and a comfortable carrying handle made of carbon steel covered with rubber.
The case is equipped with four rubber pads that help reduce shock vibrations during transport, shocks and drops.
The material of the outer protective case is ABS plastic, which has good impact resistance, shows itself stably at high temperatures and prevents the formation of corrosion.
It is important for users to equip it with four different charging ports, of which 3 USB-A ports and one USB-C port with a high output power of up to 60 W.
All main ports are equipped with individual switches for each group of ports located on the front panel.
The design provides for a standard outlet, thanks to which the user will be able to power a fairly large number of compatible household appliances, for example, a fan, a desktop computer, a TV, a projector and even an electric blanket.
Pure Sine Wave technology - provides a stable and safe output current for devices, prevents current surges, stabilizing it into a pure sine wave.
BMS NES500 technology - an intelligent battery management system, thanks to which each battery installed in the power station is constantly monitored 100 times per second, which allows you to prevent overcharging, excessive discharge and extends their service life.
The 1.5 mm gaps between the modular battery cells ensure good cooling of the entire unit.
The charge level can be restored in three different ways:
- Connection to a regular 220 V network;
- Charging using a car cigarette lighter;
- Charging using branded Nitecore solar panels with a power of 100 W (MAX), thanks to which, with sufficiently intense solar radiation, the device can be charged within 6 hours.Nitecore NES500 is equipped with a convenient informative LCD display with backlight, which displays real performance indicators: output power and its level, input power and operating/charging time.
The case has built-in fans on both sides for rapid heat dissipation and protection against overheating.
The station will be useful as an emergency power source in an apartment, bomb shelter, and is also very convenient for providing energy to a camping site.
