Clamp First Ascent Golem

First Ascent Golem - device for self-counting of the bending type.
When the user falls, the cam clamps the rope without damaging the braid.
Designed to work on a single rope with a diameter of 8-12 mm.
The geometry of the body provides a comfortable grip and smooth movement when climbing the rope.
Features of working with First Ascent Golem:
- Attaches to the rope with the cheeks extended;
- after fixing with a carabiner, the clamp's cheeks completely cover the rope, making it impossible for it to fall out;
- the spring-loaded cam is fixed at the desired height and follows the user when moving upwards without the help of hands;
- in case of a fall or a sharp downward movement, the cam automatically locks onto the rope.
The purpose of the First Ascent Golem:
- as a backup belay device placed on the safety rope;
- as a blocking device for lifting.
