Clamp Petzl Basic

Petzl Basic - a multi-functional compact rope clamp.
The Petzl Basic B18BAA is an updated, lighter (85 vs.135 grams!) and more compact version of the popular previous Petzl Basic.
It is used in lifting systems, when moving along railings, for self-rescue or for rope ascents.
It is compatible with ropes from 8 to 11 mm in diameter.
Effective and easy to use when climbing ropes:
- top hole for guiding the rope;
- bottom hole is large enough for two carabiners (sling and foot loop);
- easy and quick to open by pressing the latch.
The cam with a multi-row distribution of inclined conical teeth and a slot for removing dirt allows you to work on wet, dirty and icy ropes without slipping.
The body of the clamp is coated with wear-resistant enamel, the colour of the clamp is grey
Application: for intensive caving, mountaineering, promalpy, rescue operations and transport of cargo with escort.
