Camp Goblin - multifunctional rope clamp.
It is positioned by the manufacturer as a safety clamp - a means of protection against falling, but can also be used as a clamp for short lifts.
Ergonomic and compact, convenient for working with ropes 10 - 11.5 mm.
When the user falls, the rope will be loaded more gently than in devices that have toothed cams thanks to a specially designed locking mechanism that reduces the force of the fall lock (the force transferred to the body in case of a fall) by half compared to other devices and locks the rope along a long axis, rather than aggressively clamping it across with a toothed cam.
The shape of the cam provides a perfectly smooth movement of the rope both up when lifting and down when descending.
The smoothness of the device can be improved with the help of a special clip-clamp Camp Rope Surfer (not included and purchased separately).
Clip Rope Surfer - the clamp of which contributes to the correct position of the safety mustache with a carbine and improves the smoothness of the clamp, instantly disconnects from the rope during a jerk.
Camp Goblin can work as a clamp during lifting for short distances, for which it is necessary to switch the lever under the fastening ear, while the lever presses the cam inside, preventing it from lowering down and etching the rope.
An additional loop on the body allows you to attach it with a strap or mustache to prevent loss at the time of fastening/lining.
The cam and locking elements are made of stainless steel, the body is made of aluminum alloy.
Camp Goblin clamp can be used:
- for insurance or lifting of one user weighing up to 120 kg or insurance during rescue operations of two people with a total weight of up to 200 kg (according to EN 12841A/B);
- for insurance, as a means of protection against falling for a person weighing (with equipment) up to 150 kg on certified ropes (according to EN 353-2).
