Descender device Camp Wizard
Camp Wizard - descende device with auxiliary lock and "Antipanik" function.
It is used mainly as a trigger in an industrial mountaineering, as well as for insurance for the first in communication, lower insurance in the hall and in rescue operations for the descent of two people.
The device provides increased control and auxiliary lock during descent and ease of manipulation with a rope.
Wizard - Descender with single ropes with a diameter of 8.9 - 11 mm.
The internal mechanism and locking cam use an innovative structure for a smooth action on the rope, which prevents rapid wear and absorption and absorbs energy from small shocks with a slight sliding of the rope.
The cam can be released from the locking position with the handle, both under load and without.
The soft effect on the rope allows the use of Wizard - Descender as a clamp for lifting a rope for short distances.
For insurance, the control of the rope is controlled by hands.
Automatic braking system - when releasing the handle, the device stops.
Antipanik function - with a sharp complete clamping of the handle, the eccentric inside the device works and clamps the rope.
Due to the bend of the rope in only one plane, the device practically does not "twist" the rope.
An additional loop on the housing allows you to squeeze the device with a raistide to a strapping or mustache to eliminate loss at the time of fastening/jumping.
The housing and lever are made of strong hot -rolled aluminum alloy, the mechanical parts are made of high -precision stainless steel.

MANUFACTURER
Camp
It was founded in 1889 in the north of Italy in the small village of Premana by the blacksmith Nicola Codega and initially specialized in the manufacture of forged products for everyday needs, in particular the production of bells for livestock. In 1920, the first ice axes under the brand name S.A.M.P. were made by order of the army, and after the start of cooperation with one of the leading climbers in Italy, Riccardo Cassen, he completely turned to the manufacture of sports equipment.
The most important characteristic of any climbing tool is the weight and weight reduction itself for maintaining all standards of strength, reliability, durability - one of the highlights of C.A.M.P. products Twenty years ago, C.A.M.P. set a carbine weight record - 33 grams, twenty years later in 2007, C.A.M.P. broke its record - a new The Nanowire carbine that appears weighs 28 grams! Currently, almost every section of the catalog has samples of record low weight.
C.A.M.P. also won respect as a brand of equipment for industrial needs: high-altitude work, rescue operations, the army and special services of many countries preferred a brand with a century of history.
Currently, C.A.M.P. is part of the CAMP Group, also combines the Cassin and CAMP Safety brands.
Now, at the beginning of the new millennium, C.A.M.P. is ruled by the fourth generation of the Codega family: Eddie, Paolo, Antonio, Giovanni, Isacco and Andrea. Like their predecessors, they do not change the company's strategy. Strategy of innovation, high quality and good brand name C.A.M.P..
